Television fans are a breed apart: once we love a series, we want to get all that we can about it which is why tv series boxset are such a great gift idea. Usually, those boxset will come out a few months after the end of a season, and so on so forth. In fact, one of the most frequently asked question I get is: Where can I find the show on DVD? Is it out yet? (okay, technically that's two questions). Invariably, my answer has been that Amazon Japan has the first season available in a boxset but that's basically the extent of it. BUT...
This answer has changed because Sue Thomas was finally "limited-released" on DVD earlier this week. While this is a sure improvement over not having any kind of DVD at all, the new DVDs only have 11 of the 19 episodes of the first season and are meant as a testing ground of sort to gauge the interest of release the rest of the series on DVD. So basically, if there aren't enough sales generated, 11 episodes of season 1 is all we'll get.
This means every fan out there should consider buying the series to make sure we get the rest as well. At $19.99, the price is reasonable enough to warrant the buy. And what a nice gift as Christmas is just around the corner? ;)

I think if the demand is there, it's quite possible they'll distribute it at large seeing as the show aired in many countries.
