The Eye in FBI

Born and raised in Boston, MA, Myles Leland III is the second of three children⁽¹⁾ born to Philip and Elizabeth Leland. He attended Harvard and has a background in Linguistics (he fluently speaks Russian as a result). It is yet unclear if he joined the police after Harvard and before entering the FBI, but what we do know is that he received some kind of SWAT training (his own admission).

Very little is known of his family life other than the fact that none of them seem to be very close to the other. His parents' blue blood and high expectations often pitted Myles against his younger sister Anne, so it is safe to assume that the same thing happened with his older brother Philip jr.⁽¹⁾ While we do not know what his brother does in life, we know his sister is a lawyer (up until episode The Lawyer).

In his spare time, Myles enjoys horticulture.

1. This was never formally addressed on the show, but we do know that Anne is younger and seeing as Myles called his father Philip Sr. on a few occasions, which means that his brother (mentioned ONLY in the pilot episode) would be the eldest son and named after his father, hence Philip Jr.
